Music the great communicator.

What are we meant to say, what are we meant to talk about? What are we meant to use the power of communication forrrrrr?

Communication; always a nice scapegoat for issues between people, when, is it really the case? Is sometimes not saying anything, good? Is holding information from people, not telling them, lying? Is it not being honest … I know my feelings on honesty, do you?

What to do, to say or to not? Communication should be used as a tool, a power to enhance something? Does talking about something enhance the way in which we do or does it hinder… For me, in recent times, I can’t escape a certain feeling, a feeling that, when I say I’m going to do something, I end up not actually doing it. I either just won’t do it, or I’ll do something else. Is this good for me…the answer is no, but I don’t, know, the answer. In this case, the only thing I can think of doing is to not say a thing, and rather just do. If I simply just shut up and not say anything to anyone about anything ever again, will I do more.

“When it is decided you want to do something, you should do it without sharing. One must act without words.”

Communication is a skill within itself, we all know that but I feel that is it you knowing-how to communicate, that is what is important, and that’s the true ceiling of this power.

What are most of our conversations made up of? What did we talk about last night? Can you remember, I can’t – what was and is, the purpose of conversation.

Music the great communicator. All of sudden when no one had clue what was going on, we found a rhyme, we found the time and burst into song, completely made up, completely new but it made perfect sense, for a brief second, a set allocation of time, we communicated between each other in a way that felt different. different to how we’d been communicating the hours previous.

“The musician can, at points, trump anything the philosopher might tell us.”

Unity. Communication is there to unite, not to shout, not to tell people what they should and ought to do, it’s there to bring people closer, align people, and align towards a common goal. If I speak and it doesn’t unite? is it worth saying, do you get closer, or do they come closer? Now, all of a sudden I question, what are we uniting? People and people, people and things, you with you? Communicate, use words to unite yourself with what it is you want to do; talk to yourself.

I had a plan once, the last time I took planning seriously, I over-ran it slightly but will make it before the deadline. I’m on the cusp, the verge, of either greatness or dispair – which one will I choose.
